While Dhiraj has been busy with the Rainpark project, I have been working on the Dancing Waters project in Brampton where we are completing the Interior Design & Decor for our lovely client's new build home. They are looking to transform their beautiful newly constructed house into a cozy family space that they can both relax and entertain in.
Before we start work on the design plan we complete a lot of research with an aim to finding out more about our clients so we can inject their personality & story into the space. In this case we found out our young clients first met at a coffee shop and that was the starting point for us. The dining room will be transformed into an intimate lounge area with a coffee shop vibe and lots of subtle touches alluding to how they met. It will be flanked by a library / reading space with a fully stocked library and custom seating.

Rather than having two dining spaces like most new houses have with one formal dining room and the breakfast nook, we instead decided to turn the breakfast nook into a more formal dining space and make it more part of the living room.

The formal living room has a beautiful fireplace flanked by huge windows which will become the focal point of the room.
