Would you believe Christmas is in exactly 20 days!! This is our favorite time of the year and there is absolutely no doubt that Christmas brings people together. Family, friends, strangers, pets................... everyone is drawn together in the favorite room of all: the Dining Room.
Here are some of
our favorite Dining rooms giving you plenty of ideas for refreshing your own home in time for the holidays. When you have
a small dining room consider a round table and mix it with complementary chairs to create a cozy dining space. Here the wicker chairs are paired with a Swedish wood round table, two different elements but since they have the same tones it makes them work together beautifully, while also bringing some texture into the room.
The beautiful home of
Kara Rosenlund where she has combined the iconic Tulip table with mismatched chairs in her dining room is simple yet stunning. By sticking to one palette she has managed to make the different elements work in harmony.

If you have the luxury of a
larger dining room then a rectangular table is much more favored as its seats more people. By adding complimentary chairs, artwork and
statement lighting you can transform your dining space into a warm and cozy room for long conversations over delicious meals.
When considering lighting you can either go for one large chandelier or multiples like in the case of the Blackband Project below. We love how the tables have been paired with different yet complimentary chairs like in the pics below, a favorite being the leather chairs and concrete table combination. Or even how eras have been mixed up where Tulip chairs have been paired with a vintage mahogany table.

Probably our most favorite dining rooms is where they have combined
vintage furniture especially something with brass in it. Our trips to
Brimfield & Aberfoyle Antique Markets are a must every year as we get to peruse Vintage furniture from several decades and dream about how to use them in our projects.
And finally here is the
Fenwick Dining room and the
Berryman Dining room we had the joy of completing recently. We are currently designing a dining space for the
Dancing Waters project and will be doing the big reveal soon. Watch this space for progress shots!
